A Great Time To Visit Turkey

Fell out big style with the bird.
Given the holiday to my best mate for free.
2 things concern me.
Will he "get" Turkey ?

He's a fucking dipper ....
If we blow the league , he'll be a nightmare.
Best mate or not.

OK then .. Its been a helpful thread and so it's a Fair Wind And Following Seas ..

Was in Gocek, Mugla last summer. Private arrangement, some British guy owned villa with pool. Small place, no beaches at all, only marines and yacht people. Very, very nice for family holidays and Fethiye is half an hour drive if you need some bigger city shot. Highly recommended.

If you are there or abouts again, can highly recommend these people for a fantastic full days boat trip. Run by a Dutch lady and her Turkish husband, Ingrid and Ramazan are excellent hosts. Not the cheapest, but certainly the best. 12 people onboard maximum. Pick you up at your door, at 8/9am, call to Ramazan's parents farm, pick up home produced meats and veg etc ....then onboard for breakfast, lunch, snacks and more.
Sailing if the weather is right for it ... many swim stops, and after watching the sunset, return to port, and back to your accommodation by 10pm.

We have stayed in Dalyan many times since 1994, done many boat trips too, but these are far superior.

Flight ok to middling and delayed for 1 hour for missing compadriates.Transfers horrendous and delayed another hour for missing compadriates. Transfer taking 2.40 plus the wait time so boarded flight at 15.30 and in resort for 03.00hrs with adjustments for time zones. Hotel very good and food quality above a Spanich All Inc.. Dinner was proper chicken kebabs with real chunks of chicken. Pudding was a myriad of cakes so I had chocalate crispy slab somewhat like cornflake cakes but in slab format and made with real chocolate so well done there and attention to detail duly noted.. Local brew is efes pilsner and a cheeky little number.

Local prices are 15 to 19 for efes and 30 for proper gin and tonic.
Mr and Mrs show tonight an miss Icemelor 2019 so we have fastidiously started digging our escape tunnel. Slight rain shower this morning but around the 22 n sunny as we speak..City tops are on on for the predominantly scouse horde that pervaids our nostrils. I speak constantly in raised voice about the goodness emanating from Vincent kompany and what a fine ambassador to English football that he is..

A tip..always pay for private transfers as a taxi takes only one hour twenty. £50 return journey so pennies for up to 4 people.

Edited for spelling and syntax.

WW's one poor experience in Turkey is yet again thrust forward
Is Turkey the only place you've ever had the trots?
Have you read all of the thread and all the extremely positive reviews, or taken into account how many people return there Year in Year out?

Let’s see in 3 days. 2 now.

Yes I think it is the only place abroad that I have had the trots. Certainly the place I had it worse. Did I mention the constant being chased by kids selling roses. And the men surrounding the mrs in the sea?
