As TH's inbox is no doubt bursting at the seams I will make a direct appeal here, on the boards for two things.

Tolm - you wont name names (understandable and accepted) but you are excited by the possibilities so

1. Any idea if the timeframe I was given for signings to be complete buy the 19th is close to accurate?

2. If you could 'suggest' a player that would please you most, from all of the info you have gleaned from others who would it be?

Strange how people have different views - I would have Arteta before Gerrard - we need the sort of playmaker he is rather than the Gerrard style - and he is younger - Gerrard is far too old for a BIG transfer now

Ridiculous buying both. Reminds me of when Chelski bought Parker, Sidwell, Duff, SWP. Buying for buyings sake.

We've got Silva, Yaya, De Jong, AJ, Barry, Vieira. You could even class Tevez as sitting behind whoever our out and out striker will be. Not to mention Ireland and MJ but only Mancini knows what he thinks about those two.
