The squad players i.e. Bridge, Zabaleta, SWP etc are going to get 30 to 40 games this season due to the amount of games we have (if we progress in the cup competitions of course).

I don't think we'll see the back 4 being rotated very much.

I disagree, we could easily be playing 60+ matches this season, there's no way we'll keep the same 4 or 5 players at the back for all those games.

Just curious why nobody has commented on the fact that Ozil said last night on his Official Twitter page that City are in for him (along with Inter, B Munich, and Arsenal)...

Considering how popular he was on these boards during the WC - you'd think everyone would be buzzing about that...

That's crazy talk! We could well end up in a situation where for three seasons running, our squad will be almost unrecognizable from the season before...

Surreal but true. I definitely think at some point we have to draw a line under transfers in. There's little sense in jettisoning 70% of the players already at the club in one transfer window. Well, there is some sense in it, but it's a risky risky business.

Personally, I'd be happy with two full backs, a midfield player, and a centre forward - then two defenders out. The balance and strength of the squad would then be immense...
