I tend to disagree with your selection of outgoing players. I cant see RM getting rid of both Onuoha and Richards. My guess is Richards will stay. I also think that Ireland will stay unless he is part of package - e.g Torres - Ireland plus cash scenario. SWP - not sure about that one either as english and good cover. Don't forget we can loan these players out too.

The last few posts clearly demonstrate the argument of trying to shift "11" players out in a month will be no problem.

I remember my bird phoned me about 6 months ago and said "Who's Kelvin Etuhu?" so i told her he played for city and she said "Oh my mates going out with him, she said he's a big time footballer and he's wadded etc" I explained to her he was absolutely shite, and she said he'd been giving it the big one to my bird's mate about how amazing he was and how he was gonna be a superstar. She finished with him about 2 weeks later and i quote, "Because he's an absolute twat"

These are the important one's. I think it is important that we shed some of our big earners who aren't starters. Overall these are probably on about £300,000-350,000 grand a week. We need to replace the likes of Bridge with Garrido etc. If Kolorov will start then why even have Bridge, Garrido won't moan about being on the bench, he is young and on around £10,000 a week.

The implications for just releasing players seems to have been lost on a number of people.

You don't write-off an asset just like that. If the player keeps his mouth shut and does not demand a move, he is entitled to the remainder of his contract being paid up.

If you were to release even Jo, for example. Even if we took best part of £15m hit on original transfer fee.

At wages of say £50k a week for the next three years, old Joey would cost us more than the original transfer fee.

This, Slyvinho was a great professional and his English was amazing i thought. He had a great character and despite having played for Barca etc. He seemed very humble. Would have loved him to have a coaching role.
