I appreciate you lumping me in with Skashion though, I reckon it'll add a couple of points to my IQ, Skash is probably less happy as it probably means he loses some.. :-)
This turn of events pleases me, as it further widens the intellectual gap between me and Skash.
Don't do yourself down mate. You're brighter than you obviously think you are.
Your post is logically flawed.

On a serious note here, yes he is entitled to an opinion but as an employee of the club, has he not overstepped the mark here and brought the club into disrepute in some way?

Love or hate Bob and i wasn't a fan, shit like this, constantly used as a stick to beat the club with has to stop.

(Briefly) in the spirit of the above outbreak of seriousness, I would agree.

He's obviously got a lot of personal enmity towards Mancini, but as a current employee of the club he shouldn't be making his feelings known publicly. If he wants to tell people in private that's a matter for him and nothing was preventing him doing so after the "show" to the person who posed the question. A calculated and self indulgent response imo.

Publicly airing the dirty linen (no matter how justified) is never a sign of a club heading in the right direction. Khaldoon and co need to get people focussed on whats important. To me thats regaining the title, not constant slagging of a bloke that us part of our history, not the present.

Issue still GDM is opinions expressed in private rarely stay that way.

If I was Txiki, Les would be sat in my office this morning and we would be having a little chat im afraid. After all, Bob made his feelings of the hierarchy above him well known in public and it didn't end to well for him.

Yes the laundry lad should be in hot water over this!

You can't prevent or police private conversations, nor take disciplinary action in relation to them, in general terms at least.

I am loath to draw comparisons, but this situation would never have happened at united where the public utterances of all their employees are so tightly controlled. Don't want to end up like them in terms of control of information and, quite frankly the control of the opinions of those connected with the club, but this certainly should not have happened.

On your first point, i would state that would depend on any contractual obligations you have agreed to as part of the contract, i.e. social media policies etc.

On your second....wash your mouth out ffs, you have just ruined the day and ambience of the thread mentioning those vermin!

It's a bold statement for any club employee to be making let alone by some kit fairy putting his spin on things.

Am I the only one who doesn't ''get'' this Les Chapman thing?
He is the kit manager (lord of the laundry????) and he gets a tribute game in his honour and now a night out with Les?
So he's a ''funny bloke'', great. How much is he on a year for being kit manager?
I'm sure the club has many unsung heroes and life long Blues too (is Janice still working in the souvenir shop?) that deserve more of a platform than Les.
Never met the bloke and have nothing against him, I'm sure he is a great kit manager (whatever that means) but does it warrant all these tributes?

Chappy is pretty much untouchable at City. I think that at least one manager has been told that they could not bring their own kit man in. There has to be a reason for that.

Sound like Les is taking the Club to the cleaners. He should never have put Roberto's scarf on a hot wash and should Vanish from the media spotlight!

Pride in washing is his motto.

Or was it Tide?

Not sure this is helpful to the club when the staff are gobbing off left right and center like a colander. What's to stop them running to the press now if they have issues or are disgruntled ?

I agree. The media Surf the net and whatever the club spin, we shouldn't be rinsing our dirty washing in public. It's about time it was all hung out to dry.

It'll all get ironed out by the board.
