Pitch invasions are part of the theatre of football so I'd love there to be one. The players won't care, they'll laugh about it later. But I'd be very surprised if there is this time,

I'd anticipate a huge ring of stewards and repeated PA warnings insinuating the title will be given to Liverpool should we invade the pitch.

That's if we win the title first though.............................

Of course. It isn't done yet.

We could go for a rerun of the 1987 uptown park game where they got on the pitch, clapped our fans and chanted "loyal supporters" at us.

Or a rerun of my first visit to Upton Park where half the coach windows were put through. ;-)

I think it's a disgrace that the club don't provide zip wires to allow those of us in Level 3 to join in the fun so if I can't join in the rest of you can stay off the pitch.

Hahah I agree

When they build that slide they announced in early April, it should be reversible so as to deliver you all to the pitch rather than the car park.

Could I plead to all City fans,if we win the League, could you please refrain from going onto the fucking pitch after the final whistle and let the players enjoy that special moment. You only had to look at those scenes last time,as the players looked dumbfounded and shocked at the time as they clearly could not enjoy a few minutes by themselves as a group.
You know it makes sense.Let them have the glory and not you.
Kill joy ?? Maybe, but I know what I`d prefer to see.
Cant remember it happening at Ragsville,Chelsea etc.

spoilsport, the MEN had a red felt tip to circle all the empty seats.

There's some right happy chaps on this forum, Don't run on the pitch, Don't sing about Steven Gerrard, Don't leave early, Don't sing about United, Don't talk about a parade, FFS get a life !

"On the pitch, on the pitch, on the pitch"

If there's one thing we can do well, it's a pitch invasion.

Since when was football about the players? It's about the fans, it's about what you get out of it.

The iconic imagery from the last win were the shots and footage of the fans. No one's really arsed about a shot of Kolarov with a medal round his neck, but everone remembers the guy crying on his knees, the older fella being led off the pitch, the lads with the banner, the blue smoke, etc.

It's in our "History".

It makes us look a bit small time.

I could understand last time because we were waiting for so long to be the pinnacle of English football again.
