No it wasn't, and besides, your prawn sandwich brigade are not, by definition, fans, as you're already protesting and you're still in the CL etc.

Proper fans, like ours, have actually suffered and supported throughout, and not used plane crashes as commercial opportunities to make revenue out of dead people.

No it wasn't, and besides, your prawn sandwich brigade are not, by definition, fans, as you're already protesting and you're still in the CL etc.

Proper fans, like ours, have actually suffered and supported throughout, and not used plane crashes as commercial opportunities to make revenue out of dead people.

In recent times your money came from the club's flotation in the early 90's and a massive cash injection from Sky.
But go back in your history and you'll find several times you have been bailed out in one way or another by rich benefactors.

oh dear dear dear...since you have already been over this once I will make it simple..

The floatation raised less than £11m...40% of it went to the Edwards family ..the rest went on the rebuilding the roof of the stretford end..and the rest of the seating post Hillsborough..

as for the SKY deal..it was a COLLECTIVE Tv agreement...in fact 1998 United fans fought a succesful campaign to derail the takeoever by Murdoch.
