you had a rich sugar daddy that led to your 1st trophies and another one selling contaminated meat to schoolchildren to fund your subsequent success, you tart!
half truths and rumours become fact ...oh dear...
lets take the first point..the monopolies and mergers commision ( not the governement that was being suopported by the Murdoch press at the time) ...upheld the lobbied points raised by the fans group...the MMC was called in AFTER the fans highlighted and raised the necaasary funds to fight a legal battle.
The stadium has NEVER been funded by the goverement..I explianed earleir about 1996 ..in 1966 a GRANT of £45,000 was paid to OT...it was repaid in 1971
as for Louis edwards..I aint going to defend them

Case in point - a few years back there was an exposé on ticket touts around the Swamp - one of the worst culprits was Pete the Greek, and the upshot of this was that the tickets were coming straight from the Rags themselves - simple really, big demand for tickets... either sell them at face value or ship them to a third party who sells them for double their value and make more money.
Now while legal action was bandied the proof was not forthcoming, but I know and you know it is true... there's nowhere else those tickets could have come from (and lets be fair all top level clubs probably did it)
Now you show me where in the books they jotted those profits down.

ok, monopolies & merger comm, quango, nonetheless an arm of the state, which wouldn't be arsed unless mp's raised the matter, the fan power's doing a grand job at the mo, keep it up... post WW2 rebuild? split hairs all you like, a truth is a truth, how's the weather in Mozambique and Maidenhead? It's a bit grey in Moston.
