A s**t away end full of tourists

I sat next to Sun Jihai's brother in the first season at the Etihad.

As I said, it's not confirmed but I believe it's being checked with the club. But even if it's not the case, then if these tickets came out of the club's own allocation for players, staff, officials etc. then there's no issue.
Well, the only issue is what that allocation is.

For arguments sake, a 10% allocation for club staff to use at their discretion is too high.

Club should be clear on who get's how many tickets.

The problem is that these board pronouncements start to lose impact if overdone.

There was a lot of independant coverage of the Istanbul issues, there wasn't really any need for our board to say anything.

No-one listens to the likes of FSG or The Glazers/Ratcliffe outside their fan bases because they say nothing of substance. Everyone knows that they are just playing to the gallery.

I'll judge our management on actions, starting with what happens in Jan. If we fail to bolster the squad with suitable players I'll question them. Now is the time to take some action, the new Dir of Football can/should be involved in that so no excuses about Txiki leaving.

Actions not words are what counts.

If the club decides to carry on rinsing the fans (like they all do) but doesn't see fit to use the recent financial success (including all the money raised by winning stuff), and fail to provide a full genuine world class playing squad they we can all draw our own conclusions.

The experiment of relying on our academy to produce players ready to go in PL/CL has failed (it always was going to). There has to be a balance and we've got that wrong in recent years. There's no denying it.
Disagree with this. There was minor coverage in the media about Istanbul. The club should have been demanding answers from UEFA - letting supporters know they have our back. But nothing.

As for keeping quiet about 115 to supporters, that to me is unforgivable.Almost 2 years of constant shit for blues - the board never once acknowledging to us. I know legally they won’t speak about technical parts of the case, but ffs, we’ve had it daily that we could get relegated to the Northern Premier and never once had the CEO spoken to us about anything.

There is a new stand opening in12 months - why have proposals for moving etc not been floated so people have time to consider. Silence

It would be so easy to fix - just start to engage.

Only getting worse no transfering of tickets to friends and family next season and all away matches are going to a ballot.
There would be swathes of empty seats for loads of games if they did that, not for one moment I think City would.

Mine for one, I not be renewing, always pass onto mates if I can't get there.

I usually do 17/18 of league games at the moment due to life & travelling.

That's no excuse for them not speaking out about the Istanbul fiasco. None whatsoever.
Especially when UEFA even acknowledged that it "could have been better".

How there wasn't serious injury or even a fatality on that "bus park" was down to Blues navigating the shitshow using our wits, keeping relatively calm and helping each other out. Whilst being left stranded by the Club, UEFA & the Turkish authorities.

The sight of that cavalcade of blacked-out Mercs swanning through the great unwashed, taking that private road away from the stadium unhindered, carrying UEFA bigwigs, sponsors & no doubt City officials, will stay with me forever.
