A sincere apology to the Mancini outers.

Yes football managers get sacked surprise, surprise!! I was a big fan of Roberto but everyone will get behind Pellegrini. This Mancini vs Pellegrini angle touted by some on here is pretty irrelevant because the vast majority of us want the Club to win as many trophies as possible and hopefully MP is the man for the job.

The more lasting impact of the Mancini sacking might be in our perceptions of the players. yes I knew our squad was largely full of overpaid prima donnas but let's face it the team doesn't come out of the affair with any credit. I get the feeling that people's criticisms of the team won't be limited to a few scapegoats if we have another mediocre season. Yes Joe, if you want to play in the FA Cup Final it is time to get back to the level of performance we say before last season.

Mancini's sacking also made us more aware of the tiers of managers / administrators and PR people running the club and who seemed to be spending much of their time looking after their own interests. Mancini's sacking leaked in Spain but journos here were told - in confidence! - that Mancini was being sacked and the Club contributed to the FA Cup Final loss.
the truth hurts Tim, brace yourself!

I left the site early last season after being accused of being a 'rag' constantly, all because I dared to voice my disapproval of the way the team were playing and Mancini in general. People need to think before they start accusing other blues of being rags, as it leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. At one point on here, if you dared say a dissenting word against Mancini you were labelled one. Was a complete joke.

Have you moved out of the Bishop's Blaize with all the cricket fans there today?

Thread would suggest that Mancini did nothing, and presume Pellegrini will win everything. I just dont get it.

No. The thread makes it clear that its early days but he sees things improving. An honest observation.

This thread shows that despite all the behind-the-scenes revelations of what Mancini was really like, all the shit on the pitch last season, there's still a small and bitter core without the nous to see the obvious truth. Like sour little injured dogs, licking their wounds in the corner, growling "wait and see if he wins the league" through bloody teeth when poked.

Not many left now, but they are lurking in the shadows.
