I never expected you to have the guts to hold your hands up. Nor do i expect ackowledgement of your removed posts slagging off our Spanish duo for making poor signings.

Stick to the sky/motd/muen/uefa/referees agenda stuff mate. Very much your level.

Is that directed at me Dave?

Not at all mate. I respect you for your post.

George and I have been butting heads on Mancini for years and there's a residual bitterness now it's been resolved. All good fun though.

As Billy says, there were a few who were way too aggressive and personal in their hatred of the anti-Mancini faction, but in the main it's just football debate and exactly the reason the forum is here. And plenty of us weren't shy in biting back. And to quote from Pulp Fiction..."let's not starting sucking each other's dicks just yet" as the season hasn't even started. I remember the season we cleaned up in our pre-season and got relegated under Alan Ball ;-)

Sorry Dave I should have read the whole before my previous post :)

Oh thanks for reminding me about the Alan Ball Pre season, new kit same old shit!

Bad times.

I know some have commentated that my post is premature and it certainly is!
However I genuinely feel that MP has brought a real feel good factor to the club and the players look bang up for it.

Hence my premature optimism.

It might be early days but I have to say that Manuel Pellegrini has completely won me over.
I would like to apologise to all the BM members who I've attacked on here for having the belief that Mancini wasn't the right man.

I feel you were right and Pellegrini will be a massive step up and we are on the cusp of something great.

Any views fellow blues?

No need to apologise Amigo - early days but the signs look good

Can't wait for the season to start

pelligrini is a step up when he wins something. not until then.

The only people who should apologise are those who got abusive. Apart from that, it's just a Forum for fellow blues to share their opinions.

for sure being for or against its just a discussion; that mancini wasn't all to blame and it's not even a black or white situ but it seemed clearly that a new direction was needed

I was a staunch Mancini inner because he was the manager and I support managers whilst employed by City..I also support the owners and realise they make decisions that I may or may not like but realise that im pretty powerless to do owt about any that they make..Was I taken aback by Bobs sacking?? yes of course,as were many on here,we didnt want to lose Bob,but away he went, albeit into City folklore. The title, the 1-6 the Spuds 1-5 FA cup was for all City fans and will always be remebered by all City fans..I felt robbed, because although I couldnt do anything I wanted to say thankyou, this might sound silly to some but its what I felt and I wanted him to know that he did his bit,god knows plenty of City managers didnt..
Im proud that I contributed towards the newspaper ad in gazzetta,it gave me closure on a manager that gave me so much and to whom I will always remember with pride..
Now with the same pride,I will support Manuel Pellegrini, hes here to do good things for city,he wants to help us win things and better ourselves as a football club and I firmly believe he will.
So I say a heartfelt thankyou to bob and I give Manuel Pellegrini a very warm welcome to this special club and its oh so special fans..

Post completely premature. Let's revisit at the end of the season or perhaps after 3 seasons...
