Agreed Kas. But there are currently in operation covid restrictions. From what I saw, they were widely ignored. Now the police should have anticipated this and decided in advance what they were going to do. Seems to me that there was no real plan, a recipe for trouble. While politicians are urging ppl to keep lockdown rules, it is impossible for the police to have a lessez faire attitude to a demo.All of it is typical looking down on people , ask every woman in your life if they have been flashed at, harrassed by groups of men walking down the street or touched up in their lives let alone more serious assaults , if they are scared walking on their own after dark , they are allowed to stand together and protest it, you shouldnt have to think about safety any more than men do
