except it's not a malt. it's a blended whisky.
If you work on the assumption that everything I post in off topic, apart from on the political threads, is replete with irony you will have a much better grasp of my posts.

nice try but i can't detect any real irony in your original post ;)
I'm sorry you are unable to do that ;-)

Must admit I'm not a great fan of the Jura offerings, though I've not tried that one which is probably just a teensy little bit better than the average..

Ardbeg (including the absolutely fantastic Ardbeg Uigeadail) and the Longrow 14 year old are my current favourites. Both are, imho, bargains in the £40-50 range.

Tesco have some reductions at the moment, Black/Snow grouse for about £16, one of the Juras reduced (Superstition I think).

Had some of this the other day.

Initially acceptable but soon becomes bland and boring. Those initial refreshing smoky undertones soon turn into somethng akin to burnt hair or rubber. OK in small measures but too much can make you nauseus.

:-p

Edradour is probably the nicest i've ever had. Unfortunately you can't get it in the shops, you have to go to the distillery or maybe an online specialist, as most of their whiskey goes to Japan and the states.

Macallans, Glenmorangie Portwood or Balvennie Doublewood are my 3 clear favourites.

Distilled for years and years then people pour tap water into them!!! Just don't get that. Only drink it neat myself.

Love teh stuff as a treat every now and then.
