A320 Airbus Crashes In The Alps.

Re: A320 Airbus Crashes In The Alps. BBC

terrible for all involved cant imagine how they all feel, and spare a thought for his inocent family ( the co-pilot ) they must be going through hell, knowing your husband son brother killed 149 people for no reason at all, how bloody selfish.

Re: A320 Airbus Crashes In The Alps. BBC

I hope there's no links to terrorism.

This is a tragic enough event as it is. Links to terrorism would make a it much larger issue and make the threat of a repeat very real.

Doubt it's terrorism, more likely depression or a mental health issue that he had hidden well

This worries more than the thought that the plane had a malfunction. If a plane suffers a serious fault then that's sort of the risk you take with every mode of transport but the thought of a pilot taking everyone down with him is terrifying.

I am a poor flier at the best of times but this will make me worse. Every time I see a pilot going for a piss I will be looking at the cockpit door from now on. What a terribly evil selfish thing to do. Why not just jump off a bridge or take some tablets?

I really don't understand why this would make it worse for you, get the plane finder app everyday there are 1000's of incident free flights all over the world (in fact sometimes it looks like a miracle how they keep them all apart) aviation disasters make the news because a lot of people get killed in one single incident, however it's safer than driving on British roads which have one of the best safety records in the world

correct Ducado, in fact i have just been looking at the road death stats in the European Union and since that air crash more people have died on the roads than the amount on the aircraft, now that is frightening

I hear what you are saying but it is the thought of being helpless in a metal box that scares the shit out of me. Can you even begin to contemplate the last few minutes of the other pilot??

Re: A320 Airbus Crashes In The Alps. BBC

I knew they'd try and blame the pilot it's poor.

Not only are the poor families suffering who's loved ones died but to protect the airline the pilots family will now be told he is a murderer just to protect the airlines reputation.

Truth is in this day and age planes are turned around too quickly without the correct safety checks just to satisfy timetables.

BBC said they had travelled with other families to Marseilles this morning, before this news leaked, they must be in pieces.

there is an element of risk involved with anything, i knew a guy once that for an unknown reason he just blacked out at the wheel but the result was wiping a woman and her kids out, i'm sure the people on board the aircraft knew what was going on but at the point of impact probably didnt feel a thing

I think the families of the 149 innocent people who were killed deserve to know the truth.

If a co-pilot drove the plane down making it crash on purpose, I think the families deserve to know that mate.

I agree they deserve to know the truth but I'm sure they'll get the airlines manufactured truth that's what is sad.

No way the pilot decided to ditch the plane not having it others can believe this crap but I don't have to.

Young guy happy in his life, good at his job with a loving family and friends decides I'll ditch the plane the minute my co-pilot goes to the toilet?

The plane was obviously faulty it's a cast off 1980's plane like most of these budget airlines are and the airline knows it.

This fabricated story would have already been discussed in the event of something like this occurring.

Don't underestimate the power of £££.

Complete & utter bollocks.

There's no realistic scenario in terms of mechanical failure that would result in the flight profile that exists for that final 10 minutes.

Look back to very early in the thread and there's several posters who know a bit about aviation who were already saying that something looked very strange about this crash and were saying this well before there was any implication of this in the media.

I've posted some real data above, that is from a none airline source, that clearly shows when the plane was deliberately set into a motion to crash, so stop posting stupid stuff.

I'm about ten miles away from where it happened and trust me none of the locals are buying it.

There are mechanical scenarios that could bring the plane down.

Airlines will always blame the pilot it's what they do.

You come across as very young. How old are you? The plane is not a cast off, it has been maintained by Lufthansa who have an impeccable reputation. Why would the French investigators lie to protect the Germans?
