A380

minor things. Thankfully found before anything major happens. Sadly in the world of instant media it will create a lot of scare mongering.

Still would love to fly on 1 of these and marvel at some great engineering. Lets hope it doesn't get out of hand. The grounding of Concorde sent us back decades.
I got the chance to fly on one in October last year.

A fabulous airplane. The coolest thing is the camera on the tail - you can watch yourself take off on the seat back video system

I flew to to China on one of yours last year. To be honest I didn't like the business class cabin very much but the service was good and the IFE worked which is better than some other airlines I fly.

I work for Swiss and we don't have any :-)

well you're owned by Lufthansa who will have plenty so I assume they won't want competition?

I know a lad that was involved with wiring these who was pissed every single night he worked. In the mornings when his shift had finished he'd be straight in the bar. Then home slept, wake up and on it again before the next shift.
I wouldn't even trust the fucker to wire a plug.

Is he called Ant and does he post on here?

It's not really competition is it? We share a lot of things these days which is a bit unfortunate as they are slowly marginalising us. After steeling our Embraer order when they bought us they have now lumbered us with the Cseries which will be years late if it ever makes it into production in the mean time were operating clapped out old Avro RJ's and being forced to cut costs on a weekly basis.

To say the Swiss are the lapdogs of the Germans is an understatement. But I've said enough now!

my dad flies swiss fairly regularly and quite enjoys it, not a bad airline by all accounts.

This follows a few problems with the A380, one of which was one of the Rolls Royce engines 'exploded' as a result of cracking in the engine.

Not true.
Engine failure was due to an oil seel failing
