Every time I hear this I cry anyway.
It reminds me of my late father. He used to cry every time he watched the cup final, as he was a blackpool fan and it reminded him of the "stanley Matthews" final

In recent finals the abide with me moment seems pretty underwhelming with fans mumbling along.
Be fantastic if we can get scarves in the air and belt it out as a tribute to blues that have passed, especially Young and Allison.
Can we get a sticky and make this a campaign? Im all for Poznans etc but this could be a proper moment and set the tone for a great day.

Singing and listening to abide with me at Wembley was one of my first thoughts after we beat manure.... it's one of the moments that will make it so different than the semi, and grown men will cry....

Anyone think its worth a new thread with a new title to try to get everyone behind this?
A moving tribute to Young and Allison feels a bit more worthwhile than the poznan campaign we had on here.
Plus by doing this at 2.45pm we can pay this fitting tribute to past blues then get on with backing the lads for 90 mins
