About those "big changes" for the Leeds game...

Dunno the way we are playing at the moment I can see Leeds sneaking a win, especially if they park as expected and hit us on the break.

Not sure about mass changes but get Rodwell in the team. Our midfield has been absolutely awful lately and Rodwell has a lot of potential.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Look how good De Jong has become since he left. Rodwell and Sinclair will not be our saviours.

Forunately Komps and Nasty will be back and Kolarov will probably replace Clichy (although he was one of the few who gave a fuck last game). I don't expect wholesale changes. as much as the press go on about how big our squad is, it isn't. We might see Rekik but the other youngsters will be lucky to get a sniff

I'm not worried in the slightest. I believe Mancini will drop/rest Lescott, Garcia, Barry, Nasri and possibly Hart, although i think Hart could play now as a show of support from his Manager (This would be good management IMO).

Team for Leeds....
Hart

Zab, Komps, Nasti, Clichy

Yaya, Rodwell

Silva, Tev, Milner

Aguero

That team will beat Leeds and probably remain unchanged for Chelsea with those dropped/rested having to fight their way back into the team!

Play the same team fielded against the Saints (apart from dead certs returning from injury) & see if they're still up for the fight.

Expecting to see Milner over Nasri, Rodwell over Barry maybe if he's fit, Panty over Hart etc.

If he does and we lose he's fucked. Regardless of opinions over his position and future, if we bow out to Leeds and do so by fielding weakened team he has basically loaded a gun and passed the gun to the board. Suicide in other words.

Leeds will park the bus and 'get at us', we need to be on our game or else we will lose. This game is must win as it's our only hope of making good this season really.

We won't lose this game, even with a poor team selection and poor motivation. The gulf in class between our players and theirs will be too great.

How did Leeds match up v us on that logic though fella?

Brentford beat Arsenal.

So did Bradford

Cheers fella, the wrong b before ford.

If Bradford can beat Arsenal and Villa then Leeds have just as good shot at us as anybody has. Cup games anything can happen.

Lets hope we put them to sword like Chelsea did in the CC.

You mean Southampton I presume.

I'm just talking gut feel to be honest. If we played Leeds first team 20 times at home we'd win 16, draw 3 and lose 1. The players will have a detirmination about them I think, and I just can't see us losing at all.

What is certainly true is that it will be crisis time if we do.

Bradford I meant mate.

We should hammer them, as Champions of our league we should be trouncing Championship fodder and will be seeing this game as a cup final in itself. They will come to spoil and nick a goal or try and get a replay at their place.

We don't want to go too OTT, Leeds are good at taking big scalps and the FA Cup is our last hope, but Kompany/Nasty/Rodwell/Tevez/Sinclair in the team would be a decent shake-up after Saturday's shambles.
