Absent season ticket holders?

It is absolutely stupid though that games are being advertised as sell outs on the official site when people are desperate to go, yet when you watch the game on the telly you see swarthes of empty seats (especially in the North Stand) lower section.

I don't give a crap when people claim the likes of Barcelona often play to a below capacity stadium. Fact is people aren't getting to games because they are told it's sold out when the reality is different. City need to do something about this because a lot of people are getting extremely pissed off about it.

How does the club know if Season Ticket holders don't turn up because they are on holiday, ill, at a wedding, don't want to get cold, etc etc.

Are you really suggesting that fans not going because they don't want to get cold is comparable to illness or at a wedding?

Left Aberdeen at 5AM thinking we would have a nightmare journey, snow in Scotland but eff all in England. Think many people bottled it after the media egged up the snow to be the next Armageddon!!

Brilliant thread, but could go much further. I'd award 10 points for standing at the main entrance and applauding the team off the coach. One point for each item of merchandise worn. I'd deduct 3 points for people who sit down, and make that 5 if they don't sing either. Singing the Mancini song would get you 5 points, maybe more. Leaving early, booing or not attendimg a cup game should result in your points being reset to zero. I think the club could actually talk to ric and have the right to remove loyalty points for being critical on the forum.

We do ourselves no favours, I didn't see that many empty seats in any other games on MOTD that showed action after the 80th minute. Hopefully the new Metrolink stops the transport panic that half the stadium seems to have. An ironic "We stay till the end" song broke out in injury time today, lol.

Bit those seats weren't empty all game were they? They were because some fans left early for whatever reason

Do you know what i am genuinely fucking sick of the empty fucking seats at the games end of .The OP is right in some respects and it has mentioned by others on this forum but there are definitely fans or companies or whoever that have bought STs at exceptionally reasonable prices to just go to the so called big games and then either flog them at face value for shitty /lesser games to pay for next seasons ticket when they can't be arsed or are on these amazing year round holidays !! FUCK OFF .

The games are officially sell outs but apart from the ones against the usual suspects there has to be 2k empty seats all round the ground with main culprits being the family stand (which incorporates academy and hospitality tickets) ! I have sat in the family stand for most of the season with seats right near the front rows but have then gone and sat near the back to get a better view in the same fucking seats because the old couple who have the ST dont come to most games YCMIFU !!!
The club has to do something with this area directly behind the goal in the family stand because it is frankly embarrassing i'm sorry and anybody who thinks it isn't is a smug "i'm alright i've got a ticket" arsehole !I don't give a fuck what any opposing fan or Rag schmuk says about our empty seats its not about that it's about filling our ground at every opportunity can you imagine if every single ST holder decided to be ill or go on these amazing holidays on exactly the same day ?! exactly

We are losing out on local blues who now can't be arsed even trying to get a ticket for the wannabees who are willing to pay over the odds for the big games something has to be done

I was offering my seasoncard for free yesterday but nobody wanted it, therefore it remained empty. Not sure why the club don't let people with gold memberships use viagogo, at least the seat would have been used by someone instead of remaining empty
