They've every right to be there, they themselves knocked out two great Napoli and Benfica sides, Spurs (before the current incarnation and while Conte was still there) and a good Porto side. They got through the groups which is more than Barca, Atleti, Leverkusen, Juventus or Sevilla managed. This last 10-15 years has really warped people's expectations of the CL, it doesn't have to be the same old teams every season to be high quality. For me both teams have no right to be in the CL semifinal quality-wise. They somehow sneaked through, like Schalke or Ajax some years ago. Well, it's a waste of time and it doesn't matter much which team will advance.
A team who reaches the semi final of this competition can't be all that badFor me both teams have no right to be in the CL semifinal quality-wise. They somehow sneaked through, like Schalke or Ajax some years ago
Same as any other away team in the CL. Inter will get the South Curve tonight which is their "home" part of the stadium and Milan will keep the North Curve in the return while Inter keep the rest of the stadium. Only difference in numbers will be down to more Inter fans having access to corporate tickets than a normal away team would. Will be some atmosphere in the San Siro tonight and over both legs. How many supporters does the away team get with both teams sharing the same stadium?
If you were a season ticket holder for both, the only ground you'd ever visit would be the San Siro.Interestingly, if you're a season ticket holder for both clubs and you attend as a home supporter tonight for AC Milan, you have to enter the away ticket ballot for Milan in the return fixture and can't attend as an Inter fan and vice versa.
