Academy Players introduced to First Team 2015/16

Pellegrini thinks a lot of Kelechi. I would expect him along with Denayer to be in the first team squad.

Denayer should be the obvious one, really.

Assuming Dzeko leaves, we have 'on the front' the following players: Nasri, Silva, Navas, Sterling, Aguero, Bony, but to make the squad consist of 22 men, two other players are needed. If we buy De Bruyne (or somebody else) it still leaves the door open for either Kelechi or Lopes, which is great I think.

Would expect Denayer, Lopes, Kelechi and possibly Roberts to be at least on the bench for the majority of games. Barker will probably go out on loan. I would also like to see Garcia, Maffeo, humphreys be involved in the early cup rounds.

If you think them 4 will at least be on the bench...who are the 4 you think will make way for them?

I'll be happy if one or maybe two manage to get in as being regulars and continue being very good to fantastic players for us. And this for every year to come. Than we can truly say what a magnificent academy we hold.

I think Ihenacho and Denayer will get more than a few chances this seasdon. They look to be good enough and physically up to it.

It does seem to me that one of the reason MP hasnt promoted more of the younger players is that they generally seem to be on the small and slight side. Players like Angelino and Pozo are clearly very skilful but just do not seem to be physically ready for the PL. The physical contrast between City and Chelsea's juniors last season was quite marked. In a team including Aguero, Silva and Sterling there must be a limit to how many small guys we can accommodate. It might be different if one of them was a Messi but I dont think they're quite at that level.

Sell Dzeko and Nasri. If we were to give Barker or Roberts a go on the right either of them are welcome to take Navas' place in the squad as far as I'm concerned - although, i know my opinion on Navas isn't shared by many.

Next season hopefully we'll replace Sagna with Maffeo, give him some cup games this year, and obviously bring him in if needed due to injuries. Same next year with Angelino/Kolorov - if he's up to it.

Personally, I'd have Gunn as our number 2 now, as Willy is just terrible.
