Basically my expectation is 2nd/3rd with good cup runs and CL last 16, anything more would be a bonus - I think 2012-13 will be the big push for the PL title (although obviously I'd be ecstatic if we get it next year).

I personally don't hold with this 'Gelling' argument. Footballers should not need months on end to 'gel', it's either there or it isn't, the game is quite simple really and a good manager can exploit speedy players, skilful players etc, to good effect. I have been watching City for over 50 years now and I honestly believe Glory is imminent. Roberto will really go for it this season and I for one can hardly wait.
