Was she 15 and one week?

15 and 51 weeks?

That's why I was getting at. Was it a Friday and her birthday was the Monday and it would have been legally fine?

If he's groomed her and knew then fuck him. If he met her in a club and didn't know then I'd be less inclined to foam at the mouth.

I understand what you're saying but in the eyes of the law even if whatever happened with the girl happened 30 minutes before her 16th birthday he's still up shit creek.

Coupled with the fact he's already with a stunning, age appropriate, woman who he's just had a child with then messing about with 15/16 year old is too stupid for words.

He is clearly not that bright. If a 27 year old man was grooming my 15 year old daughter for sex I would want the culprit punished severely. As others have said innocent until proven guilty but if he has done it. What an idiot. Life changing.

That's the bit that worries me. The rumours are that he met this girl in a club and they went back to a hotel to "do the deed". Now, if true, then, for me, there's a concern. If she's in a club then she legally HAS to be 18, and Johnson surely has a right to expect the club to have done its legal duty? Also, if she's in a club then she's obviously pretending to be older than she is, is it right that there's an onus on Johnson to physically enquire about her age to see if she's being deceitful? She knows she's not old enough to be there, and that she's not old enough to have sex. She knows she's committing a criminal act or, more accurately, she's allowing Johnson to commit a criminal act. If he doesn't know, because he's assumed only an adult would be in an adults only venue, then, for me, that's not an unfair assumption to make.
