Thankyou Mancini for getting rid of that fucknut Adam Johnson and may many more wasters follow him out the fucking door. I've feared many players coming back to haunt us, this lazy c.unt will not be one.
You can, but don't mind if its merged into the correct thread.

I loved AJ.

Out of all our players he was the one who felt most like a City player - in that he was brilliant at times but made really basic errors such as not running back.

All our big guns Yaya,Siva,Tevez,Balo all linked well with him. He scored goals and he was as accurate a passer of the Ball as anyone at the Club.

Mancini didn't want him to leave - he could have stayed here as long as he wanted and become an attacking version of the squad players they have had at the Swamp over the years (O'Shea,Wes Brown,Phil Neville). It seems to me that he has seen losers such as Downing play for England more than him and he has decided he wants 50 + Engalnd Caps.

We went 35 years without winning anything and this Lad has played his part in changing that. True he isn't Yaya or Kompany or Barry but he has definately played his supporting role well.

Anyone who doesn't wish him all the best needs to take a good hard look at themselves.

Tom from Sunderland here lads, We are all absolutely delighted AJ has signed for us. We obviously realize the players you have at your disposal means you can notice the flaws in squad players like Johnson who are surplus to your requirements but for us its fantastic buisness.

9 million i think has been quoted? You've got decent money for him in fairness.

Looking forward to the match tomorrow at home to Reading, although he can't play, He'll be met with a heroes welcome.

I see this as a nice little treat for the shit we gave the rags for you on the last day, so thank you all and good luck for the season, in which, in my opinion, you will piss the league this time around.

Whilst I'm not devastated to see him go by any means I can't help but think Johnson has become a bit of a caricature on Bluemoon - Gazza Mk2.

He's nowhere near as much as a waster or lazy as many make him out to be. Yes, Mancini has criticised him at times but he's done this to lots of players and Johnson has scored and assisted at crucial times for us.

He certainly wasn't the perfect professional but then who's going to call Balotelli that.

stop beating us at the SoL in the last minute but otherwise enjoy your season.

I wish him well, I hope he goes on to get 50 caps, but you are right that he is the kind of player we used to have. Like Wright Phiilips. He seems like a good lad, but really he's not good enough for a title winning side, not being arrogant or spoilt about it, but he's not good enough for City in 2012.

He's a Match of the Day player - people who don't watch much football and just watch highlights think he's a world beater. I bet his YouTube video would be great, but over 90 minutes in the Premier League he just doesn't do enough. No pace, doesn't want the ball enough, goes missing for large chunks of the game, just doesn't get involved enough. I wish him well, but I won't lose any sleep about him going.

I really hope AJ can find his passion at Sunderland. There are quite a few of us sad to see him go.

Good luck!

You do know he's a childhood "barcodes" fan? lol. I wish the lad good luck, this move may help his England career of that there's no doubt.

Not at the level we require at this club now had plenty of game time to prove himself, but didn't deliver nearly as much as he should've. I'm sure he'll do well at Sunderland and I wish him all the best of luck for the remainder of his career.

Good Luck Johno , Glad to See him gona be starting Week in week out now. Just worried whos our Game changer from the bench now

Yes, Tom, many thanks for the shit that you gave out on the last day of the season - highly appreciated! Good luck to you and AJ for the season.

I want to wish AJ good luck and I am just sorry that it did not work out for him at City. If he goes to Sunderland with the right attitude and puts the effort in I am sure that not only will he be good for them he will also be a regular in the England squad.

What are you betting that he scores against us! Never mind.

Saddish to see him leave, but hes really got a chance to shine now , he has to grab it with both hands

Those being the exact reasons he's now at Sunderland and not a national regular.

The shit you gave the rags was indeed appreciated and will not be forgotten! On the subject of AJ, ignore some of the bile on here, you've got yourself a good player. Some good goals and an eye for the odd outstanding defence splitting pass. What he lacks though, and horribly so, is pace, and against the better teams in the league it rendered him frequently ineffective. 10m is a fair price for both sides, although seeing as you've shelled out 14m on Fletcher, I can't help but think we should have mugged you off for 20m for AJ!

An excellent player who was involved in a lot of City's best moments but crucially wasn't good enough for a regular start in the first eleven which as a player of his age was what he wanted. Good luck to him at Sunderland.
