Absolutely agree, I have 2 young daughters, to think a 28 year old man who knows they are under 16 would groom them scares me so much. He is an idiot, had so much, lost it all, no sympathy at all from me.
I agree with you pllk. We know the legal age. Its one thing for a 16yo lad trying to get into his 15yo girlfreinds knickers but its bordering unbelievable a 28 yo would mess about with a girl of 15 knowing she was underage. Beggars. Belief.

Just to point out if he's guilty then he's a ephebophile. There's no evidence that he's a paedophile though the media probably won't make that distinction.
Pleading guilty might be an attempt to bargain though it indicates evidence is stacked strongly against him.
Sunderland should have made him sign something (perhaps a legal financial agreement) to ensure he was telling the truth about pleading not guilty. You have to ask serious questions of them if they were are shocked he pleaded guilty. Johnson will be sued now no doubt with his career in ruins.

Even here that is the case to a degree, its unlikely to be in the public interest to prosecute a 17 year for having a relationship with a 15 year old, its quite possible the 15 year old could be more mature than the 17 year old.I've just said that some countries make allowances for small age differences even if they have a lower age of consent. So a 17 or 18 year old having sex with a 15 year old will be allowed.
Most of these countries with lower AOC, make reference to age difference in law anyway, so it would highly likely still have been "illegal" anyway.
He's lost his job, he'll lose his liberty for a while too, pretty much got what he deserved for being such a stupid prick.

I dont care about those countries, I think its weird for a 28 year old to have sex with a 15 year old. In addition in Germany I know he would face jail, the lower age there is only when there is a small gap in the age.
So I have answered your question, why wont you answer mine? Do you think it is ok for a 28 year old to groom and try and have sex with a 15 year old?
