Adam Johnson: Joining Manchester City is bad for your career

Re: AJ

He was proper shit today, hope he OK, always will have respect for our championship winning players

Re: AJ

It was the realisation that he isn't as good a player as his ego and head tells him,now he gets regular starts and all,the penny has finally dropped and it has knocked him for six!

Re: AJ

Probably pig sick that he wasted the opportunity to play for what will become the greatest team in Europe over the next few years?

He was and never would be good enough in the long run

The Macken fans are very disappointed in him, or so it would seem.

To be fair he did say English players shouldn't join because they will not get a game and that is true because most if not all wouldn't because English players aren't good enough it's as simple as that.

Look how poor England are they hardly strike fear around Europe!

We had 5 England players in the starting line up today.... English players never get a chance at City my ar*e.

He proved today that he is invariably dogsh*t when he starts, he is an impact player for last 20 mins.

AJ just wasn't good enough as most English players aren't in the big games such as Champions league or Euros.

You only have to look around the Premiership and all the top players are foreign.

Technically at this moment in time English players are second rate.
