I get the impression that "doing a Gollum" will become the standard procedure for selling a player to us. They know they'll get more money.

Reports on Thursday suggested the Blues had lodged an official bid for the former England U21 international, with Boro boss Gordon Strachan confirming that approaches for the winger had been received.

thats exacly why were going for him, i wouldnt pay over the odds though for potential, he may look quality in a poor team and lower league, whether he can cut it with the elite is another matter
