Adam Johnson to dippers

£25mill, no less. At that price I would sell and buy albrighton as backup to Sanchez and bank 10mill.

Id loose AJ only if we got someone like mata who can actually put in a decent cross
AJ can cross, but he's played on the right so he can cut in and shoot.

I think we might take AJ for granted. As wingers go, the only player I'd swap him for in the Premiership would be Nani

I can't see AJ being sold at all. Mancini said we really missed him when he was injured and added a spark to our play when he came back. I really like AJ and wouldn't want to sell him to anyone. He will be vital next year imo

Spot on

I read a lot of slagging of johnson on here, I could spend all day posting to defend him, but it would be fruitless

He has the creative spark, and is so much more influential than people give him credit for

Fucking dippers.

No chance we're going to sell a talented, young, England international. Liverpool might think there is a chance of him being unhappy as he doesn't always start for us, but even if we were tempted by a big bid for him with somone in mind as a replacement, would AJ really walk away from Champions League football next season having contributed to getting us there... Non starter for me.

Adam Johnson has, at this moment in time, no interest in leaving City.

Or so I am led to believe...

After paying 35m for Carroll and 20m for Henderson, you can count on it that the Dippers would send a derisory offer our way for Johnson of something like 11m.

if an offer of 23-25 mil comes in you absolutely have to say yes. His potential is not only limited but if we were to sign Sanchez (or someone else) he is probably the 6th attacking option if all our players were to be fit.
