15m is a good price ....we more than doubled our outlay on him ..... When I seen Fletcher going for 12m I thought why was Johnson going for 10m ....at least 15m is proper value.

If he goes which looks very likely I for one wish him well.
He will look back on his time with city with an FA Cup and Premier league winners medal.
Not bad for the alleged pisshead and he will no doubt be a guaranteed starter for England from now on.

I doubt if its exactly what Bobby wants. For example, he wanted DDR but got Rodwell. I have feeling that we are settling for 2nd or 3rd choices.

I predict that in a few years we'll be happy with the fee we get for Johnson. For me he is the winger version of Stephen Ireland, plenty of talent and little application, will never get close to his potential. Remember, Ireland was going to be liberated when he left City and we got the raw end of the Milner deal... according to the bitter rags and all.

Be glad to see the back of AJ, liked him when we signed him but he just hasn't progressed.
Can't be a decent impact player when you've got no pace, can't be a starter when you don't put a shift in.
Decent left peg and dangerous when one-on-one on the edge of the box but other than that provides us with fuck all.

Brilliant post, although that last bit could apply to a lot of people on here, jesus wept the uproar was cringeworthy when that deal went through.

AJ is likely to go because he has consistently not shown enough application to play at the level City play at. When he starts he's usually anonymous, when he's brought on, he usually has a run and a shot right away, and then fades into the background, and he almost always puts the fullback behind him under pressure, unfortunately not the one he should be attacking.
