Cheers, can't believe we will get £15m, but if Fletcher and Jarvis are near £11m then I suppose its fair enough.....
Makes Sinclair a steal at £4m, well done City, for once
I'm in shock at us possibly making a profit on a player we bought.

It speaks volumes for me that Liverpool and Spurs showed interest, and yet he's going to Sunderland.

I hope he does well there, so long as its not against us. Seems a nice lad, but not ambitious enough to grab his chance here, and yet takes an FA Cup and Premier League medal with him.

Whilst I don't really want to sign sinclair, he should be an improvement on Johnson. His stats are wildly deceiving, often scoring/assisting when our opposition are defeated, and mostly against lesser teams. We would've got those assists and goals last season with any other half decent player. Sinclair will hopefully actually show up in the games he plays (if we sign him) which will be a marked improvement on Johnson who adds nothing to our style of game, etc. I've been really disappointed with Johnson as a signing (if it wasn't already evident!).

From a Sunderland fan, obviously this deal will be announced shortly

Is this photo-shopped or whatever its called?

If we are counting AJ as 15mil then Sinclair will be 8mil, can't have it both ways - you either include add-ons or don't.

Out of interest, has anyone else noticed that SSN have changed fee for Rodwell from 15mil down to 12mil - someone from City must have had a word...

Sunderland fans going mental. It seems to be a foregone conclusion, and they're just waiting for the announcement. What a bunch of bellends. At least now everyone will see why he's been on the bench, as opposed to the drivel that it's because he's on the bench that he's not reaching his potential. 15 mil is a good deal for us!

They're right to be excited because they've just signed a cracking player. I'm willing to bet that it's only City fans (not all I might add) that think swapping Johnson for Sinclair is a good idea.

On the contrary, the consensus on the general football forums seem to be that City have done well out of the deal; Johnson out and Sinclair in with a balance in our favour and lower wages.

I have to agree with this

Got to say i feel this is a fcuk up by city. yes johnno has struggled but hes young and better than sinclair all day long.

No rvp
no hazard
no sahin
and now losing johnno and only brought rodwell in? Confused.com well and truely

I noticed that on the ' City ins' page it showed Rodwell as 12m but on the 'league table of spending' they keep running it showed us as spending 15m and this had us sitting nicely in their 'top 6' spenders.

Utter cunts.
