He scored 6 goals in 23 ChampIons League appearances for Dortmund which is hardly prolific. Real Madrid have been winning Champions League titles since the year dot so you can hardly attribute his signing to them winning a CL title. You can't say that, I dislike Bellingham, but at Wharton's age he was an England international, scoring goals in the Champions League for Dortmund and then played for the biggest club in world football and won a Champions League. Wharton is a fantastic player, but he's nowhere near that level yet. He plays for a mid table Premier League Club with no aspirations of winning league titles.
Yes his career has progressed to a higher level than Wharton's at this point but he is a year younger and by the end of this season it is highly likely he will be signed by one of the top 4 Premier League Clubs. I think you are somewhat dismissive of Crystal Palace and what they have achieved under their Manager. Given the structure of the PL they will never win a title but as we well know they can win a Cup.
The reality is that Bellingham's career might have already peaked whilst Wharton's might have not
