ade on his way?

If it is true I wouldn’t be to upset, Tevez and Bellers seem to play better when he isn’t in the side, and they really can make a difference. Ade only seems to play well he “feels good inside” . Plus when we play with Tevez leading the line he drags the oppositions defence all over the place and links well with Bellers
 
He's got nine goals in eighteen appearances for us , accordin' to the wisdom of wikipedia ....

not bad going ......

i'm only suprised he's managed to get that many games in!

When we play with Ade leading the line he stands still like a statue and wins fuck all in the air, and doesn't link well with Bellers!!
 
I think he'd be a bigger loss than people on here realise, unless we brought someone in of top quality to replace him at least

He got three in three after the Cup of Nations and set one up bothe in the two Stoke aways.

His form at the start of the season was no better, he scored and did little or nothing else.

To say he is off form is wrong, he is not thay type of player. He only plays near the goal and he was the same at Arsenal.
 
So a goal every 2 games as well as assists isn't good enough then clearly. Add to that the fact he has quality hold up play, a great touch, pace and skill to beat players, he's clearly crap. "He doesn't jump for headers" I hear you say. He doesn't challenge 90% of the time because there is no other player within 40 yards of him so it's pointless doing so. Why are we lumping balls up to him, he wants to play on the shoulder of the last defender and have the ball to run on to or played in to him, that way he is very effective. But he just doesn't run around enough and track back does he? Strikers shouldn't track back, they are there to score goals and that is what he does and does pretty well in my book. Why should he waste his energy and effort pleasing fans by running 90 yards to make a tackle and then realising there's no bugger up the pitch, thus giving people another reason to moan.
 
Think Ade is a class player and his stats back that up!

He was on top form before his ban after the Arsenal match and he had started to recapture that form before his latest "unfair" 4 match ban!

Hope he comes back after his ban and picks up were he left off!!

There's nothing wrong with his work ethic mate. If you think he's lazy then i guarantee you'd be equally disappointed with Villa, Torres, Drogba, Aguero etc...

Every season on a regualr basis rumours like thsi start and certain "fans" start getting on players backs.

If you want work rate.....lets get Paul Dickov back!!!!!

Ade is a top class player, who has done well for city this year in an interupted season, some of which may have been his fault and some of which certainly wasnt. (his last sending off was ridiculous!)

But as fans we need to learn that we cannt and shouldnt use stories like this to start attacking our own players as is happening....all we do is help the media successfully destabalise the club. Its the same that happened to Robinho, and it has happened to othes as well. And everytime we have fans on here and int he stands who start believing the media and turn on the player.

And as for some of the comments on this thread about not missing him......do you know anything about football??...seriously???
Henry....lazy with little work rate but one of the best strikers in the world, torres......when do you see him tracking back??

Im sure there are some people on here that prefeerred it when we were in Div 2 and had a team of cloggers and hard workers.......we have the likes of tevez and bellamy to do that and very good they are at it as well........but ade is a different style of player altogether......but calling him lazy is just plain ridiculous
