How are they closing in on Damiao when Internacional have said they haven't bid?
And I believe the player and the club have said they both rejected a transfer to Tottenham in the past.

City don't need Adebayor to go to Spurs. Would be great if he went, somewhere, but he does not have to go to Spurs.

Think Spurs need to take a reality check if they think Falcao will sign for a team not in the Champions League.

Damiao may sign for Spurs. Has potential but don't Spurs need experienced forwards. Has Defoe left yet?

Re: Adebayor

Spurs have history in being linked to players they don't stand a chance of getting.....

I reckon once they see the wages on offer they tell spuds to poke off.

Actually, the only striker your closing in on right now, is the re-signing of Luis Saha...

Levy is trolling with Falcao.

Damiao is reasonable for Spurs .... atm shall I say.

Price and interest surely to go up after his awesome Olympics? Spurs could have had him a year ago but Levy fussed over the transfer fee as he tends to do and nothing happened. Apparently on Milan's shortlist for an Ibra replacement.

I'd love it if this was true.

Re: Adebayor

I wouldnt be surprised if spurs make a cheeky bid 4 tevez instead of adebayor then again whos going to play thursday night football ha ha.SICK of spurs wouldnt mind buying bale though.

Re: Adebayor

Dream on, Bale will never leave Spurs for a PL team.

Falcao and AVB are best friends and according to a couple of Porto fans, They are in a civil partnership.

Dave didn't say he wouldn't leave Spurs, said he wouldn't leave to another prem team.

Which astoundingly I think he has that right to be fair

And why on earth would you think that? It's something i always read on football forums and it's just bull shit. "Our star player would never leave for another Premier League club, He wouldn't do that to us". Yes he would actualy, For the right deal at the right time, any of them at any club would, Bale is no different. He will have no more love for Spurs than his mates are there and they are his current employer.

If City had a succession of finishes outside the top 4 and Chelsea came sniffing around Silva, Aguero etc then there's a chance they would leave. It's just something the gullible tell themselves to make them feel better about a situation. Believe me, it can happen. And if Bale keeps showing the same standard of football but never the less Spurs continue to win nothing, he'll be off to the highest bidder. English Teams included!
