Use your eyes! I just said its my opinion! Bloody hell this site gets worse by the day for people jumping on your back, the term "in talks" means exactly that, we have not officialy bid for him yet so how could a fee be agreed? They are talking about a figure roughly £20M thats not ITK info thats just facts.

Why should Hughes say a deal has been agreed........... He is not crazy

I think that before we are allowed to talk to another teams player permission has to be given, that being in the form of a bid as it shows intent to buy, so i would say a fee has been agreed and personal terms to have a new work permit etc so i think we are nearly there with him, also i believe that a medical could have been completed, as why would we run the risk of not getting a permit if he hasnt had a medical, as we all know it can all go tits up at that point

You might be rite buddy, but I know he defo has permission to talk to us I just dont think any deal has been agreed yet, watch this space though I have a feeling things will move quickly tomorrow, as I said before we (sports science) recieved his medical background this afternoon and we dont normaly get that unless were doing a medical for that player. We will see what happens tomorrow!
Can you tell me if Roque Santa Cruz and Bellamy are completely over their injuries?

It was reported that Bellamy has tirn some fibres in his patella tendon, and that Santa Cruz had tendonitis. Are they completely over their injuries, or could these re-occur? Bellamy seems to have a lot of knee injuries

Are City's medicals done at the Bridgewater Hospital, or do you use Carrington 100%?

Thanks

A work permit for a guy of ade skill is a formally! Plus city couldnt apply for a work permit for him unless a fee and personal terms were agreed, a work permit is a legally binding document! Without a work permit players can still play outside of the uk and in non competitive games! If togo dont match up to the fifa rankings over the two years he will get through on the grounds of exceptional talent!

he gets a work permit on championship manager!!!! does this mean it will happen in real life???? ps got him for 17 million aswell. lol.

Methinks it will be a great buy. Defence next please..............CTID

Im just saying I dont think it has been agreed just yet, normaly its all over the SSN if a bid was accepted, but as was said today a formal bid has not yet been tabled, it might just be City not telling them muppets anything (there good at that) and it has been done behind closed doors, we will find out tomorrow im sure. Either way it can only be good news! Except for me as it means ill be busy at work........

No I can see why your thinking that, I wasn't having a go, and like I said in an earlier post, they could be trying to get personal terms done tonight ready for the hearing. My point was that you can't guess/estimate on those forms, so we have to do everything by the book. But if we have booked the hearing for tomorrow, the deal must be at least 95% agreed, otherwise it would be a waste of time.

I'd be amazed if we've done all the groundwork without getting some sort of "unofficial" idea from the Home Office (?) of the likelihood of Adebayor obtaining his permit.

Funny how Arswhole fans are now slagging him off saying hes shit!

With 30 goals in the season before I beg to differ!!!!

I agree hes a great footballer! no doutb and I think he brings more to the table then eto and there will be so many great forwards here he wont have a chance to be lazy! remember hes got to try to keep MH's mate Santa Cruz out of the team!lol

Santa Cruz did have Tendonitis, but the scans that were done seemed to show that it had cleared up, generally speaking with Tendonitis it doesnt reoccur unless the tissue has an underlying problem, his doesnt so were hopeful this should not reoccur, Bellamy has problems with his knee and has the same problem a few years ago, again this has cleared up significantly and he should be fit for end of pre-season, should it reoccur? Probably, as it appears he may have further issues which may end up having to be operated on, but then again it may sort itself out.

Medicals are now mainly completed at Carrington unless we need a specific scan like CAT or CT which we dont have at the complex and if we cant do it at Carrington we use the Bridgewater or Whalley range depending on which one is free at the time! The owners have sanctioned a new sports science block at carrington within the next 12-18 months so everything can be done their, this is all due to them not wanting any media attention with regard to new signings etc. Hope that helps
