Adebayor (merged)

Ric might have been right as far as the club was concerned but if Ade has a change of heart before signing what can you do.

Well, everybody knows were not gonna be pissed around (Eto'o), so the deal will eaither be resolved/collapse within the next day or 2.
I personally wouldnt be too disapointed if the ass fell out of this one!

Yes Ade would be fantastic player for us.I think he would be better then Eto for us .But its not the end of world if we dont get him..We have great strikers...Im happy we got Tevez!

Not sure how Ade could go back to the Goons for half the wages especially in light of all the beatings that he's taking from Arse "supporters" online...

He's only 25. He has about fifty goals over the previous two campaigns (during one of which he was battling injuries). He's been knocked for laziness and City has a manager who can make him compete hard every game. He'll be playing off of and getting service from : Robinho, Tevez, Ireland, Barry, Santa Cruz, SWP and Bellamy (to name a few).

I love this transfer and am eagerly awaiting seeing Ade pull on a Sky Blue Kit.

Am i the only one looking at this seeing a woman with her legs open wearing a black thong

Whoooooooooosh.............there goes Clarkie!!!

;-)

we need a "you cannot be serious it's not as if someone died" button next to 'report' and 'quote', and we can get Clarkie points for stuff like that.

It's a strange one for me this, he's quite obviously a talent & i'd obviously like him to sign for us BUT i also don't think i'd be too disappointed if he didn't sign for us.
Maybe i'm just a little concerned deep down about the attitude problems he's supposedly shown at the Gooners.

This , sums it up for me

Look people, why all the negativity about this?

Do you seriously beleive what the papers are saying, they are just surprised that adebayor didnt sign directly so they decided to say he had a change of hear.

What i beleive is that adebayor and lescott could be announced together, which is why we didnt announce the signing yet and he didnt have his medical yet.

I think this signing will go through no matter what the press say , they still think we're little old city.

Ok guys I just received the newspapers here in UAE, its a local newspaper.

The front page has adebayors picture, and the title says:

Adebayor work-permit granted.

Now in UAE they wont post something like this unless the sheikh told them to cause he's confident its a done deal.

Im just saying what i read in the newspaper thats all, it also says the deal could be concluded in the next 48 hours.

It didnt say shit about him re-thinking,its just a rumour in the english press so please remain confident that adebayor could be on his way.

Cheers.

I was going to check UAE news agencies this morning, thanks for that update.

I'm still hopeful but really nervous about signing Ade now. I think he's the final piece of the jigsaw up front leaving us to concentrate on other areas of the squad.
