areed.Tell him the medical is booked at 12 noon and all the papers are there to sign after. If your not there f"ck off.
Thank fuck your not in charge of negotiations.
We can;t let it drag on.If he has to think, forget it.We can always go after Arsenals target.

Pretty sure the deal will still happen. Totally understand a player wanting time before signing on the dotted line. It's just unfortunate that we are rushing to get the deal done in time for SA.

Thats completely rediculous.

As far as we know this deal has been running for less than a week now. Thats really not very long for a high profile player. Maybe the papers are correct and he's stalling, we'll find out soon enough. IMHO I wouldn't be suprised if he signs today or tomorrow, if it hasn't happened by the weekend, its not going to. Either way our squad is looking good and we get to see them play on saturday.

Fuck Africa, if he doesn't sign before Africa so fucking what? It's not that big a fucking deal is it?

YES! NO! WE NEED HIM SIGNED NOW!!! THE WORLDS GONNA CRASH IF HE HASN'T SIGNED IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS!!!!

Or maybe he's wondering whether he wants to live somewhere where players houses are getting robbed.

Thats completely rediculous.[/quote]Why? whats there to think about.Arsenal don;t want him. He;s joining soon to be the best club in Europe. He;s not being asked to pack in football and take a job at tesco;s ffs.Besides half these footballers will make themselves ill if they start to "think".

Here is what i "think" will happen.

1. Adebayor move is being held up by his agent moving the goal post regarding his fees - This will go through after he realises City will not budge.

2. Terry move in the balance, though he does now want to come, expect some movement early next week either way.

3. Lescott move is only going to happen if we cannot get JT, this really is plan B, never planned to have Terry and Lescott together.

Lets wait and see!!

If Adebayor is given more time to decide his future (to say after we come back from Africa), then surely Eto'o should have gotten the same treatment.

Eto'o got months, Adebayor has had less than a week.

It is, but not just because we're impatient - because it says something about his level of commitment to playing for us.

There are plenty of quality players across Europe who will be looking at Adebayor and wishing they were in his situation now, we shouldn't have to twist peoples' arms to play for us.

Does he want to move from London?
Does he want to play under Hughes (not just because it['s Hughes, it's soemthing every player thinks about before moving to a new club)?
Does he want to be perceved in the media as being greedy?
Does he want to live in an area where players houses are getting robbed?
Is it convenient to uproot his family?
Does he want to sacrifice Champions League football?

Want me to carry on?

Your very naive if you think it's a decision someone makes on a car ride from London to Manchester.

That's not entirely true. According to Hughes, they only put in a bid 10 days before they pulled out.

Thats not entirely true either, when City met Barca months ago they were informing them they would be bidding for him in June/July.

THIS ^^ People dont decide to change jobs at the drop of a hat, he has probably had lots of concerns since we made a bid for him. All we can do is offer him a good salary, a big future and a good environment. If this is not enough then we move on, but ffs people give the lad some time to way up his future.
