Yes he is. What does a striker need to offer? Ability to control the ball. Lay off the ball. Good positioning to find space for shooting. Aggression. Ade has nono of those attributes so offers nothing as a player. At least heskey ruffles defenders into mistakes if nothing else. Adebayor is a fairy and his control of the ball is terrible for a player at this level of football.

he is such a fustrating player to watch, its obvious he has a lot of talent, the country has seen it for the last 4 years but he just blows hot and cold too often. I think ade and mancini knows that once balo is up and running again he wont get much of a look in. I think he will look to move on in january and if we can get an able replacement, city will probably let him go.

I'm talking about Ade mate, not kolo. If you want to talk about kolo though, i'm sure Wenger had more of a rye smile throughout alot of last season. He looks back to his best this season though so fair enough.

Hahahaha I actually came on here looking for this thread. You lot are sheep I knew as soon as they had a go at him on TV so would everyone else. Fact is he actually had a decent game, his passing was very accurate was always a threat just didnt get the ball to his feet like he wanted. This is a guy who has been out for 4 weeks. Infact besides the goal, AJ didnt have a better game than Ade. But what do I know I only think for myself and dont allow the media to decide for me how good or bad a player is. Worse than Hesky? Ade has over 60 goals in 3 seasons how many does Hesky have?? Idiots.

Really disapointed with Adebayor, I thought he would want to prove a point to Mancini that he should be in the starting 11, But he was his usual self:
To lazy to keep himself onside
Never an outlet for the midfield to give the ball
His work rate is one of the worst in the league

Plus I feel really sorry for Tevez he busts his nuts every game including tonight and for him to look at that lazy c*nt Adebayor doing absolutely nothing is a disgrace.

blaiming ade fior the tev miss saying it was him that was given ofside....well if it was him then the lines man got it wrong cause ade didnt go for the ball if he had done then he would have been offside but he didnt

ive never heard a match analysis concentrate soley on attacking one player, and analysisng whther that player wants away from the team

the media treatment of Ade is a disgrace and the treatment of him by some fans is just as bad.....

he has just come back from an injury...he hasnt played a competative match for over a month so he isnt going to be match fit for a good few weeks..he needs game time
