Adebayor would not be sitting happily on the bench for the rest of the season.

So what? Who's fault was it that he wasn't getting games and Jo was? He'd do more on the pitch than fecking Jo!

There is no doubt that the squad is a bit depleted and in an ideal world Adebayor would still be here but he's not.

LOL! You make it sound that Adebayor leaving was beyond our control. Mancini f*cked him off to Real! And in his place we have a lanky, useless waste of a shirt.

Brilliant management!

Like someone else has pointed out, Jo was here before Adebayor so how is that replacing him?

After the Fulham game people were raving about Jo and saying how he might have a job to do as cover on the left. Adebayor has been slated on here and generally been pretty shit for a full year. The problem has not been letting any of these players go, the problem has been not replacing them.

How many of our fans, if given the choice like Mancini, would get rid of Adebayor in favour of Jo?

Yes, he has his faults, but he's 10 times the player Jo is and would have done a job for us.

Talking shit.

Jo has been here for years and has never been a replacement for Adebayor.

Who said he was? Point is, Jo was played instead of Adebayor.

Ade's replacement was Dzeko, but that doesn't fit your narrative, so you've chosen to ignore it.

Are you for real?

Let me put it to you simply...

We had these two strikers: Jo and Ade. Ade - who is 10 times the player Jo is, didn't get a game because the manager thought Jo would do a better job.

Fact is, Jo has been an abject waste of space.

Half time score: Mancini 0 Insanity 1.

Come the window. Our genius manager sticks with the abject Jo, and f*cks off Ade.

Full time score: Mancini 0 Insanity 2

Now - go figure!

Re: Adebayor

You'd have a point if Jo actually played up front at all, and even then, only a miniscule one borne out of the fact that you don't know what the situation with Adebayor was.

Ade, Ade, Adeee

Ade scored a screamer tonight against Sevilla.

That will be all.

Re: Ade, Ade, Adeee

Notice the difference with teams like Real Madrid that actaully service players like Adebayor whereas Manchester City probably only crossed the ball 3 times today and failed.

Fucking hell, he stayed onside and showed some movement.

No - Ade can play in the same position Jo has been trying to play in - so my point still stands.

Irrelevant. He didn't play him - that is the issue. However Ade behaved - that's assuming he did behave badly - he still would be a better player than Jo on the pitch. And the pitch is where it matters - not the training ground.

Remember his hatrick in the Euro game? He showed what he could do on the pitch. What happened next? Didn't get a game again.

And the fact that a manager can't get on with his players - Ade, Carlos, Bellamy, doesn't say much for his man management skills, does it?
