Adebayor to Spurs for £8million?

He's worth double that - and they know it.

That's debatable. He blows hot and cold too much.

It's all a question of do City want to keep paying his huge wages? With "The Project" it doesn't make sense paying someone over 150k a week to rot in the reserves.

With the huge amounts he is getting only that Russian lot would match the wages.

I don't trust Adebayor 100%. He's done well but he's shown signs of sulking already. Levy has to play this one well. 8m may seem like a steal to some but it's a risk to others. Especially if you're close to breaking the wage structure.

If Harry leaves, is Adebayor going to upset the new manager?

"The Project"...

You patronising cock... I've seen enough of that hate filled pit of rejects known as Glory Glory to know using quotation marks when talking about Citys project is as demeaning and bitter as it gets. Truth be told you lot would wank until you shot blood and dust to have an owner like ours with his vision for the club.

As for Ade. Remove him from your season and you aren't in the top 4, he's been that important. He had issues at City but he's been superb for you, No reson to believe that will change. He's worth at least £20M and you know it. Pay up or fuck off.

IMO it will all depend on who Spurs manager is and whether they get CL football next season, after last weeks showing I am not convinced arry will be there and whether Spurs actually qualify and will have the funds to buy him even at 8m.

Har har, it's like Groundhog Day.

Adebayor and Redknapp bicker as Spurs slump
Published 22:30 23/04/12 By John Cross

Emmanuel Adebayor is set to become the biggest casualty of Tottenham's disastrous late-season slump.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has become frustrated with the on-loan Manchester City striker, and the pair have had a frank exchange of views amid his personal run of poor form.

Adebayor, who missed Saturday's defeat at QPR with a hamstring injury, felt he was being singled out as Redknapp looked for reasons why they have managed just one win in nine games.

Redknapp, who is favourite for the England job and could quit Spurs this summer, had said earlier in the season that he would like to sign the Togo international permanently.

But Tottenham, whose once-thrilling season is threatening to implode, are now unlikely to make Adebayor's loan deal permanent.

Ade not feeling the love = finito @ spurs

Well unless they get a manager in that he likes in summer.

I thought Arry was supposed to be some kind of superhuman man manager and motivator.
From what i am seeing thats crap, he publicly insults multiple players and berates them when he pulls them of regularly.

Just a twitter rumour that isn't true, there has been no bust up.

Fwiw, I don't think we can afford his wages so I don't think we will be buying him, just my opinion.
