My favourite bit was where he said that teams were doing "a Man City" insinuating we buy average players, then in his very next breath saying he'd enjoy taking probably our 5th striker on loan.

Adebayor should help us finish near you, as you really won't be as high as you like to think. I can see ManUre pissing it this season, mainly cos Chelsea are literally older than their manager, and you lot will need more time to gel. Also I think Mancini is a richmans Ranieri. I find him rather clueless and think he needs upgrading upon if you are to win the league ever. And you should be looking at winning the league considering you've spent the equivalent of USA's national debt on transfers.

Our manager is 'clueless'?? He has several league and cup wins to his name, where has Redknapp, in 30yrs of management has 1 F.A Cup and 3(soon to be 4) financially ruined teams behind him
I wouldn't say any City fan was 'so confident'. It was just very nice to see us start a season so well with a great debut for out major signing
And as for Adebayor, if you think he will help you finish in the top 4, we thought that and look what happened. It wasn't until we farmed him out on loan that we got our top 3 finish

I dont see any benefit to us in this.
I would rather him go to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Whilst he was/is a pain in the arse,He can still score goals and if they get him they can then sell crouch so a win win for them.

All I'll say is if you Ade you have a top player when on pom, with Twitchers management skill he'll get the best out of him in every game..
If you only sell Modric I really think you'll be a threat of top four!
On Swansea I think there in the same bracket as Blackpool but better defensively with a better manager, because city have a cracking defence we made them look average after the half hour mark, in my opinion any team who play open football could well get beat by them!

Spurs are a joke at the end of the day, their best player wants to go to a London rival and thus far they have signed no one this summer - apart from a 40 year old keeper.
If they sell Modric they cant replace him with anything like the same quality and they will struggle to finish in the top 6 IMO. Spurs are hardly a club on the up are they ?
