I think adebayor on his day is almost unplayable. He never really played that badly for us and almost got killed while playing for his country so can't really criticise.

As ever though once Mancini makes a decision that seems to be that. Poor man management in my opinion and his main weakness.

Time will tell if it was the right decision.

in fairness you dont win titles with players who are good on their day, the manager sees more of a player and his attitude than we do. Adebayor is a much better player than edin but like others have said edin has a better attitude. Chances are long term both will be sold. To me its not ade vs edin the answer is neither

I agree but I don't think letting a title rival have one of out players was the brightest thing we we ever did.

that i cant argue with, was very strange

Dzeko has a terrible first touch. He seems to be able to do all the hard work but then find himself unable to finish. A very frustrating player and while Adebayor is tearing it up in North London the pressure will always be on the big Bosnian!

As he fuck, is he fuck and will he fuck.

Some absolute garbage in this thread!!

He was appalling at Anfield on Monday.

Dzeko is much more inconsistent. I have nothing against Dzeko. I am looking in terms of individual qualities. Dzeko has tremendous aerial ability but hardly ever dribbles around the penalty box with pace. He tends to be to too slow in his judgement when passing (very much like carroll). He has a powerful shot but Ade shoot with much great accuracy. Id say that Adebayor is much more suited to our team than Edin.
Strikers are there for scoring goals so answer the question? how many goals had Ade scored and how many has Edin scored?
Facts are facts and numbers count with strikers

I don't think there's much between them ability wise, Ade probably shades it.

However, i'd take Dzeko every day of the week, he seems to actually care and doesn't go into hiding no matter how low his confidence is or how badly he's playing.

Both inconsistent, but Dzeko contributes more even when he's not playing well.

Both strikers suit the spurs style of play more to our's. Dzeko would score more than Adebayor if he played for spurs.
