Adebayor vs Dzeko

Dzeko any day of the week.
It would be nice if we got back to the way we were playing earlier in the season and playing to Dzeko's strengths mind. Quicker counter attacks, balls down the channels for the fella to run onto. Hey decent crosses would help as well (but hey they've been relatively poor all season).
There is nothing more frustrating than a player like Ade being offside all the time because he's too lazy to keep on-side.

I dont think Adebayor is as poison as he's been made out to be.

IMO, he is better than Dzeko. I said this when the Dzeko purchase was being made. That money could have been spent elsewhere.

-- Mon Feb 13, 2012 1:58 pm --

I dont think Adebayor is as poison as he's been made out to be.

At the beginning of the season, I had never imagined that this would have been even a considerable proposition. But as Bobby said in the interview before the tottenham game, Adebayor has made tremendous strides in mental aspect of the game and looks fitter than I ever seen him. He is such a tricky player who has some real pace about him now and one who now works very hard for his team .He is such a vital cog in that Tottenham team, I am now certain that Man Utd will lose when they meet Tottenham and I think it was great decision to send him on loan to Tottenham. But now coming to the proposition, who on here, would sell Dzeko and keep Adebayor. I know Bobby and Ade had a falling out but in an ideal world, would you do so?

Assists? Like Adebayor's miscontrolled first touch that ''what's his name'' scored from?

Adebayor was credited with four assists on Saturday.

That's the most from any player in the Premier League since Fabregas three years ago.

Dzeko scored 4 goals in one game this season.

That's most by any player in a game in the last 5 seasons.

Ade can play well but Dzeko is a better player. Plus he doesn't top the "most offside" player league, unlike Ade.

Err... no it's not.

Yakubu scored four for Blackburn against Swansea in December 2011.

Saha scored four for Everton against Blackpool in February 2011.

Berbatov scored five for United against Blackburn in November 2010.

Lampard scored four for Chelsea against Villa in March 2010.

Rooney scored four for United against Hull City in January 2010.

Defoe scored five for Spurs against Wigan in November 2009.

Keane scored four for Spurs against Burnley in September 2009.

Arshavin scored four for Arsenal against Liverpool in April 2009.

Lampard scored four for Chelsea against Derby in March 2008.

And Berbatov scored four for Spurs against Reading in December 2007.

But apart from that, you're spot-on!
