I've heard that every agent in the world posts what they are doing on twitter, because they have nothing better to do, and clubs don't mind their business being bandied about on social networks.

ffs.

Its the way grown fucking men hang on every word spouted on there that gets me lol.

Twatter and facefuck should be benned!

I'd guess as his wages don't count for FFPR, so long as we word it correctly, that any subsidy we'd pay also wouldn't count towards FFPR under the original deal.

So we'd take a hit on the overall bottom line (profit/loss) but as far as FFPR accounting is concerned I'd imagine it wouldn't count.

I think as far as our owner is concerned an extra, say £7.5m being the difference between his spurs wage and his city wage, wouldn't even register on his radar :D

That's my theory anyway

Money is money whichever way you look at it, this FFPR is just accountants speak. From memory because Ade was signed before June 2010 his wages don't count as far as FFPR and furthermore because he is transfer listed. Any player transfer listed their wages don't count either.

But 26m is an awful lot of money to the man in the street and if the club save that through his wages not having to paid by the club and the income we receive from Spurs then that money can be used to purchase a player who will be of benefit to the team. As one journalist wrote the amount we will save/get from Ade will pay for RVP.

No brainer really.

Adebayor

Skysports news reporting we have agreed a deal with spurs....no doubt will come back to haunt us when we see him galloping towards the south stand when he scores!!!! nevertheless defo freed up a massive chunk of the wage bill!!!

Re: Adebayor

agreed but i suppose it shows a bit of willing on our part especially if toure goes toturkey as is being reported....that's gotta save £250k per week of the wage bill????

Don't really know what to think with ffp now. Obviously Chelsea and PSG don't seem to be bothered in the slightest by it.

I believe we will try to comply as much as possible to get onside with the elite of European football however at the first sign that FFP is not working or cannot work, we will throw the shackles off and do what we feel we need to do.

It's noticeable that since PSG have signed Levezzi and now look like signing Ibrahimovic and Silva, Platini has gone extremely quiet.

a bit of favouritism perhaps????? PSG have also signed a couple of other players this summer that were Juve bound so imagine they weren't asking for peanuts!!!! in chelsea's case they have got some big earners off their wage bill!!!!not sure if (excluding hazard) that the others would be in the drogba, bosingwa and kalou ball park?
