Yes. There are about 1.5 million Afghan refugees already in Pakistan from the last twenty years of conflict and its only going to get worse. Some put the numbers already there as much higher.

We went ahead with the partition of India and Pakistan which caused approx 1m deaths and millions more displaced. What we are witnessing now in Afghanistan is nothing new.

Major power exhausted after WWII, lost authority in India, and devises plan to withdraw and hand the country back. Result, violence and chaos.

Them service men and women holding the airport are very brave. I was looking at the pictures a couple of days ago with them mingling with the Afghans and I thought it only took one of them to go undercover and causing carnage.

It's not as simple as that, we already have a refugee crisis and are streched to the limit. Plus with that amount of people pouring in, you never know who might come in under the guise of refugee. But considering the humantarian crisis that is unfolding, i think we will be housing them for some time atleast, hoping for the best

1.5 are the registered refugees, actual number is between 3 to 4 Million.

If you think that we drew the boundaries between India / Pakistan etc (splitting the Pashtuns between two different countries) badly .... have a quick scan of the map of Africa. Nice use of a 12'' rule there.
