Aguero banned for three games (updated)

Sky's script is already written: M(o)U HAVE to win this season! City & Pep are up against the kitchen sink. Thankfully we are well wise to it. And Pep has seen it all before too with Madrid (which is twice as powerful in its influence compared to MU in this country).

Now the game is even more exciting. Looking forward to what Pep comes up with. And the agenda doesnt end here. We hv Clattenburg to contend with during the game as well :)

Not at all surprised by the decision.

There is no way the FA was going to undermine one of its 'top' officials and allowing City to 'win' would have opened up a whole can of worms on whether a ref/lino saw a particular incident.

However, it all boils down to one thing: Sergio should not have sweet his arm as he did.

Is Clattenburg confirmed?

He swung his arm but the ref saw it and deemed no action to be taken at the time.

Then Sky Sports and the BBC who are infested with rags and knowing the derby was coming up decided to run it on a loop to try and get him banned.

The FA who only really ban people when Sky Sports kick up a fuss have now done so.

Just wait until Rooney lashes out and watch the silence....

Boiled sweets on the mind? ;)

The inconsistency is a pisser but I think he deserves a red for that and he shouldn't have done it.

We will he ok without him. We have been before. As we are going into the season with 2 strikers effeftively, Pep must have 2/3 things up his sleeve for situations like this and I expect lots of urgency in midfield and lots of pace on the break.

The only reason sergio got banned was due to the media / sky / red tops , it has been non stop , they want to give the Rags an advantage in attempt to get them back in the limelight at the top of the league , well they succeeded in removing the only world class striker in Manchester from the derby game , but they under estimate Guardiola's tactical nous , he will set up to win this game convincingly without Aguero . The only chance PEG has , is if he starts the pre-match nonsense that he and the Rags are renowned for , and his negative tactics , combined with their players trying to kick us off the park , if we rise above all this crap , another sick swan is a possibility .Never been more confident going into a derby game , they are a team of ego's and individuals , we are a TEAM.

I think there are plenty of people who still believe there was no sending off in this incident because he didn't elbow anyone and it's very difficult to figure out intent in an on-the-ball tussle.

I don't believe Aguero has anything to be ashamed of and if I was him I'd be pissed off if the club fined me.

You can't expect players to know how to avoid media frenzies unless you make them into robots.
