Aguero banned for three games (updated)

I never get this we await the refs report like with the Feillani attempt of murder on Zabaleta

in the 67th minute I watched Fellaini stab Zabaleta 14 times with a bread knife I considered this necessary force as Zabaleta was obviously shielding the ball with an aggressive demeanor on his face

or

Despite me looking directly at the clash between Aguero and Reid I literally am a fucking ****
Well there's no doubting your a **** mate, if that clears things up

Bunch of conspiracy theorists in here it was a bad elbow deserves a ban and that's that. Ya'll getting laughed at on the united forum and rightfully so. Aguero was stupid accept the ban and move on you loons

can i offer some more fuel to the fire about the ref

the west ham player that sterling had in his pocket the ref gived him 2 final warnings and the fist one in the first half he said no more and told the west ham captain that's it NOW THE 2ND HALF the west ham full back stopped sterling from getting past should have been it for him early bath but NOPE what did the ref do then YEP told the west ham captain that's it he then said something to the ref and he got the yellow card shocking

i know its only 3 games in the new season but we are seeing some shocking stuff by the ref's and what is up next yep the manchester derby at OT we are going to get a right going over by the ref and united will have him in there pocket. lets see if that new couple of rule's about rushing the ref and talking back and pulling of shirts and not looking at the ball when defending will happen to a united player some how i dont think the ref will have the balls to give manchester city anything come derby day

Anthony Taylor? Lee Mason or Tugger Dean? Bet they'll give it Crapps and he'll do his best to redress the 1-6! I'm still surprised that we got three points from that game and didn't come away with an official draw!

Is this not the arrangement the Swamp Donkeys have with PiGMoL? Get a booking and then everything's ok. Unless yer Adebayor and then there's the time-wasting with menaces which Crapps forget to put in his report!

Sergio elbowed the guy. Red Card or lack of and then the consequential FArce charge. But I have just looked at the highlights with that Beats stuff and every time a City player goes past a Wiiiiiist Hiiiiiiim player there is a forlorn attempt to grab an arm or a shoulder. I can understand the frustration of getting roughed up and swinging out. Rooney spent much of his early career at The Swamp doing very similar stuff. I can't remember the number of times the FArce charged him but Ferguson must have been furious!

I don't talk about other matches with different refs.
This one is not the rudest ever elbow swing. Sergio was frustrated as he didn't feel fairly treated, yes.
His elbow is too high, yes. It should not happen in football, yes.

And you are spot on about the refereeing during the match. And consequently a yellow would have been okay here since he has allowed all the grabbing and holding before - against the rules in place. Poor ref all over.

Why should Sergio pay the bill all alone for such a poor ref performance?
Okay, because the FA can.

Spot on pal the media have got the refs running scared and any debateable decision against there media darlings will have some outlets demanding hanging would not be good enough for the guilty party!

The FA have allowed Marriner to submerge that performance with the Aguero charge. How near or far do you have to be to spot something? WTF was Marriner looking at? Soon as I saw Marriner trotting round the pitch I knew it would be pantomime verging on FArce! (See what I did there?)

Just as bad as this one but there must be a media blackout concerning this player...

Perception/vision is not infallible. Sometimes we can be looking right at something and not notice it or immediately forget what we saw (I remember a TV documentary a few years ago that showed how unreliable eye witness testimonies are, because of this).

In normal, everyday scenarios this is the case. Now thrown in a frantic, high-pressured environment like, say, refereeing a PL match. Yes, it appears to us that Marriner was looking right at it and therefore should have 'seen' it; but he didn't, and it's totally understandable why.

Yes, Aguero was reacting to being fouled by Reid. Yes, Fellaini and Costa are consistent offenders. But Aguero can't control those things, he can only control what he does. He reacted, it was stupid and it was no-one else's fault but his own. He got away with a 'stamp' on David Luiz a few years ago so I guess his luck has run out. We will all just have to suck it up and focus on beating Utd with the other 15 or so excellent players that we have..
