Aguero injured after a car accident in the Netherlands

6 weeks just to heal then probably another 2 weeks before physically able to play safely. I used to work in injury recovery. That being said maybe they give him some kind of injectable juice that's makes him heal faster? But I have no idea.
Halve that.

To win the title this season was always going to be tough, two quality full backs were needed, we addressed that to a certain extent but are still on thin ice with no top notch cover for either position, Danilo can fill in but not replace either in quality imo, to go into a long hard season with 2 strikers , with one young & adjusting to the premier league as well was not ideal which is why we wanted Sanchez .
We started well with my fingers crossed we could keep it going as long as possible, it was almost inevitable we would have injuries but to lose Mendy for the season & Aguero for a length of time that we don't know is a major blow . What injuries are ahead ?
Titles are won and lost on injuries & suspensions , fine margins , we are weaker now & the title is going to be incredibly difficult to win now. I wouldn't make us favourites that's for sure.
( cue , wipe your fanny.....Mars arse , knee jerker , toys out of the pram etc etc etc )

Every side gets injuries, we'll cope.
Look at the rags, whether you rate Pogba or not he's an important player for them and they're coping well enough without him and so will we.
It's at times like these that managers earn their corn, Pep will change things and adapt.

Players always miss a few games per season for many reasons .injuries ,suspension, poor form ect we have enough players to step up .all the top clubs will have players missing at some stage of the season .

Can't believe if he's fratured a rib(s) he'll be back in 2 weeks, 4 possibly but even that would be a stretch. Hopefully doesn't force it too much and end up delaying his return further.
I think 4 weeks minimum is the likely scenario. Quite a decent set of fixtures after today so we should easily have enough to cope.

I think it will north of 6 with a derby return set in mind but we shall see.

If he is prepared to play while the bone still knits which many a elite does he could be back in 4 weeks.

This would only happen if we fall behind the pack to the point where specific changes are made because of lack of goals with the side we put on the park.

Until then lets have faith in who we put on the park.

No doubt tonight will be a huge test lets hope we are up for the fight and knit together given another season ending injury to a key player.

We have the talent and ability to do it this year its whether we have the drive and will.

Just a little concerned that getting a taxi is being treated as though it is so risky.
Going to Amsterdam is irrelevant as to how the accident occurred. I´m sure driving himself to training each day suffers a similar risk.

Yep. You could even be right with 6 weeks. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Flappers need to flap mate, haters to hate.

Hopefully not too long until Sergio is back but it does put pressure and an over reliance on Jesus

Can’t burn Gabby out so Pep needs to look at alternatives for different games

Personally can see either Kev or Sane playing central in certain games to allow Jesus rest

Main issue is making sure Sergio gets all the support and expert care he needs and not rushing him back

The season is a marathon not a sprint and other teams will have injuries suspensions etc
