This.. very odd that people are throwing the towel in for the second leg citing Jesus playing as the reason... yet he was probably our stand out player in a great team performance and the catalyst as to why we have an advantage going into the second leg.

Am I missing something? as I really don’t get this train of thought or what justifies it?

Disappointing that Kun is not available but jesus goals per minutes is one of the best in the league , he is a different type of player to Aguero, he can be annonymous for 15-20 minutes then curls one in the top corner. He would be a starter in every other PL team and that includes the Dippers and #the best front three in the world, his goals and assists are ahead of goofy teeth "Bobby" and Jesus has played half the minutes

Gabriel Jesus has and always will be a top top player for us and there are too numerous quality performances to individually dissect but for those like myself fortunate to be at Southampton and stayed til the end and saw us become Centurions and everyone else who witnessed his match winning goal be it there or not it is such an iconic moment not to be forgotten, watching his headed goal while in the ground at the bernabeu in madrid was out of this world, just want to say watch Gabriel Jesus from now til August 23rd when David Silva lifts the Champions League, even the doubters will have to eat humble pie.(p.s. FA Cup will be ours and Premier League ain't over yet !!)

You summed it up beautifully.
In Jesus we have an exceptional player.

No doubt Serg is the better striker but I genuinely think it’s not that simple a choice when both fit.

I think Jesus is more dynamic and gets about more.

The link up play with the two wide forwards is usually top drawer from him.

You’d have Sergio as he could win you a game with 2 goals in a 20 minutes but Jesus contributes more than goals, his movement brings in other players.

There’s been periods where he’s been the better option of the two.

He’ll never score the amount Aguero does but he’s a bloody fine player and think those kicking him on here would look foolish if he ever left and started somewhere every week.

Huge loss but it’s just been one of them seasons for us I’m not surprised. If we’re gonna look for positives though, I’d like too see us play a false nine a lot more. We’ve always looked good using it.

Kun is the greatest goalscorer in Prem history. Gab's goals to games ratio is monumental. As long as Gab stays fit, we'll continue drilling holes in opposing defences, but in a different way.
