Aguero injured

I had an op on my torn meniscus 24 years ago. After an NHS op and NHS physio - both worked fantastically well for me as three/four months later I was playing footy again. The meniscus surgery today's players undergo is more far more specialised and they can be playing again in 6 weeks. There is a psychological aspect to knee injuries - the physio will manipulate your knee beyond what you think is possible and you have to overcome a confidence barrier to swing your foot through the ball and getting stuck into tackles. Wouldn't be surprised if Sergio's back for the Champions League latter stages - taking nothing for granted though.

5-6 weeks from multiple sources now:

Agüero is already in Barcelona. Tomorrow more tests with Dr. Cugat to confirm that meniscus injury in the left knee. He will have surgery there and the estimated time out of football is 6 weeks. The goal is to be against Real Madrid. He is very motivated to achieve it.

I did my miniscus and the rehab has to be quite gentle ( i wasn't even allowed to swim for a bit). I think he's done for the season, but we'll see

Not too big of a loss when it comes to the PL, nothing to play for. Hopefully he's ready for the CL.

He does, but in this situation he shouldn't be, so if he chose to pass he's done wrong. I think he slightly overran the ball, or the pass curled a touch, hence why he tried to side-foot guide it in but couldn't get enough behind it. I'm sure he'll claim the assist though.
no, he looks to foden who is in a way better spot and makes the pass, unselfish and great.

Win 3 games in each of the competitions we are in and it is enough for 2 (more) trophies and securing a CL qualifying place.

It is a shame, he was on his way to a few records however, and we are without doubt much more potent with him, goals or not.

Jesus has stepped in well before, and has never truly had a lengthy run of consistently starting, so this might be his time.
