1st of August,FA Cup final....
Win 3 games in each of the competitions we are in and it is enough for 2 (more) trophies and securing a CL qualifying place.
It is a shame, he was on his way to a few records however, and we are without doubt much more potent with him, goals or not.
Jesus has stepped in well before, and has never truly had a lengthy run of consistently starting, so this might be his time.
He looked (and played) like Lennie Peters without his sunglasses on.He was a majestic Sight in full amble.
He does seem to be a little fragile these days. I’m not sure how many injuries he’s had in the last couple of years but it feels like he’s missed a lot of games.Injuries are now beginning to take their toll on Kun im afraid.
Think this is one for opinions. I don't see him look towards Foden until after he's touched the ball. Just reckon he could not have seen him as he was always looking in the other direction. Unless he has some sort of extended peripheral vision allowing him a 360 view. ;)no, he looks to foden who is in a way better spot and makes the pass, unselfish and great.
opinions, sure, i can get behind that, but it's so obviously a pass for me, the look, angle of his boot. direction of kick, all scream pass. plus there was a defender directly in front of him, he made the right play, especially in view of how selfish mahrez and raz are this was as good as teamwork gets.Think this is one for opinions. My point stands though, he should not be trying to pass the ball that way when he's a goalscorer and has got himself into a perfect position to shoot. Actually think less of him as a striker if that was what he did. But if people prefer strikers to pass up on shooting when only the keeper to beat in favour of guiding the ball with a fine angled deflection and avoiding the standing leg, fair enough.
