I completely disagree with the club that we can wait till we sign a striker. We spent 40m on Ake ffs, if money is tight we should've used that money on a striker. I'd take a good striker over CB cover assuming we are still gonna get a new starter RCB.

There's a fucking reason why Bayern's medical department were vehemently against him and his methods. You don't fuck around when it comes to Germans and medicine, they know their shit and they called this guy out big time.

We have post-surgery issues with almost every single player who sees the guy, seemingly because we (club and surgeon) think that we can cheat the system and bring the player back much earlier than otherwise possible. These issues aren't normal.

Sane's recovery would suggest maybe, just maybe you have a point here. Saw the kid play last night, didn't even look like he was out for a while, still sharp as ever. I don't know if Dr Cugat is good enough or not but I am sure Pep must have done his home work.

The surgeon is not responsible for fitness, only curing the problem so the patient is pain free. This he did. Now Aguero needs tk get fit.

Aguero has always been poor at returning from injury, always takes a long time to get back up to speed.

Ake could play as a DM, if we get that Kounde kid, he could also play as a DM, I think these type of utility player signings are significant to Pep's style of play.

In his 30's, last year of a contract and suffering a serious injury that as you say goes from him being fit possibly for games long gone to now maybe another 4/8 weeks and we are seemingly still hanging all our hats on him, Gabby aside.

I get the way we do our business, top secret, CIA style fucking silence, players being smuggled in via black sites etc etc etc but at some point, some actual fucking noise from the club about something.....anything might be nice.

If we start the season with just Gabby fit up front then someone wants fucking.

It’s mightily frustrating, imo, because we got preoccupied with Messi, yet it’s as if we are still hopeful on that front as otherwise it seems crazy we just don’t get our targets. Always fucking about over a few mil, just get the deals done. We’ve obviously got the money set aside as we thought we might get banned and now that’s out of the way we should be on it. We don't need any more cover at DM unless it is a specialist who is better than Rodri/Gundo.

Rodri, Gundogan, Fernandinho, even KDB in the worst of injury crisis in a double pivot alongside someone can all do a job there.
As for striker, we only have Jesus there for probably around 75% of the season. We need the covere there a lot more.
